But first, some background…

I am proudly multi-disciplinary and intensely curious. My background ranges from creative digital storytelling on the full breadth of social platforms to fund-raising and communications for nonprofits, and even starting and running two successful food businesses in as many states. I’ve also worked on the personnel development team at a leading hedge fund, helped to spin off a SaaS startup focused on helping people learn more about themselves and how they think, and even helped to build new employee experiences at a leading data-management organization.

The challenges I most enjoy are creative and collaborative projects that bring new ideas, both tangible and ephemeral, into the world. The best projects are those that push creative limits to capture, engage, and retain audiences for organizations and brands that have something worthwhile to say. In short, I use video (and audio, photo, design, motion graphics, UX, and gamification, among other things) to solve real-world business problems.

I’m currently based in scenic Reno, NV, but I am actively looking to relocate back to a large city. I’m open to anywhere, though would prefer NYC, the Bay Area, Seattle, and Portland (not necessarily in that order).

A few fun things that aren’t on my resume:

  • Attended the French Culinary Academy in NYC where I trained as a bread baker

  • Worked as a grip and PA for broadcast commercials for Kraft Mac and Cheese, Marie Callender’s Pot Pies, and Blue Diamond Almond Milk, among others

  • The miniature-scale intro sequence to Better Living Through Chemistry

  • Created a SaaS product-launch piece for the first ever Zoomtopia

  • Was a PA for livestreamed Lindsey Sterling performance during the first ever YouTube Music Awards

  • I had a brief on-screen appearance in Elliot King is Third (Trust me, I’m better behind the camera.)

  • Helped produce and shoot the Free Colonoscopy Sweepstakes

  • Worked as a camera op at more than a dozen live shows at the Blue Note in NYC

  • Built and operated the audience polling system on Lie Detectors (GSN)

  • Wrote two speeches for former president of the Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-Bak.
